ZTE ZXA10 C320 GPON OLT with GTGO Board and SMXA/1 Controllers

ZTE ZXA10 C320 is a compact, modular OLT platform designed for the deployment and expansion of FTTH access networks. The offered set includes an OLT chassis equipped with an 8-port GTGO GPON board, two SMXA/1 controller and power supply modules, and a complete set of 8 Class C+ GPON SFP transceivers.

The platform is designed for telecommunications operators, Internet service providers, and integrators building high-performance fiber-optic networks. The ZXA10 C320 supports EPON, GPON, and P2P technologies, providing a high degree of flexibility when designing access infrastructure.

The device features a 2U chassis suitable for installation in standard 19" Rack cabinets. Thanks to its modular design, the platform can be expanded by installing suitable line cards and control boards.

8 GPON Ports and Class C+ SFP Transceivers

The set includes a GTGO line card with 8 GPON ports, enabling subscribers to be connected to FTTH infrastructure. Each GPON port can operate with the included Class C+ GPON SFP transceivers.

The platform supports a maximum transmission distance of up to 20 km, making it suitable for both urban networks and extensive operator infrastructures.

SMXA/1 Controllers and Uplink Ports

The ZTE ZXA10 C320 is equipped with two SMXA/1 control boards, which also serve as power supply modules. Each board features two SFP slots and Ethernet ports intended for management, monitoring, and uplink connectivity.

The complete set provides access to 3 Gigabit uplink ports, including 2 optical SFP ports and 1 electrical GE port.

The controllers are powered by -48 V DC, which is standard in telecommunications infrastructure.

High-Performance Platform for FTTH Networks

The C320 provides 420 Gb/s backplane capacity and 84 Gb/s switching fabric capacity. The maximum bandwidth of a single slot is 80 Gb/s.

These parameters make the device suitable for networks requiring high throughput and support for a large number of services and users.

Triple Play Service Support

The ZTE ZXA10 C320 enables multiple services to be delivered simultaneously over a single fiber-optic infrastructure. The platform supports Triple Play solutions combining:

• high-speed Internet access,
• VoIP telephony,
• IPTV television.

The device also provides advanced multicast mechanisms, including IGMP Snooping, IGMP Proxy, and multicast group support, enabling efficient IPTV service distribution.

Advanced PON Features

The ZXA10 C320 platform supports the IEEE 802.3ah EPON and ITU-T G.984.x GPON standards. The device also offers a range of functions designed to improve transmission performance and reliability, including:

Layer 2 and Layer 3 Features

The ZTE ZXA10 C320 provides a comprehensive set of switching and routing functions. The device features a 32K MAC address table and supports up to 4K VLANs.

• SVLAN,
• Selective QinQ,
• VLAN Stacking,
• line-rate forwarding,
• STP, RSTP, and MSTP,
• IEEE 802.3ad link aggregation,

• IPv4/IPv6 Dual Stack.

For Layer 3 routing, the device supports up to 12K IPv4 routing entries and up to 6K IPv6 routing entries. It also supports static routing, RIP v1/v2, OSPF v2, IS-IS, and BGP.

Multicast and IPTV Support

The platform is equipped with features designed for IPTV services. It can support up to 1000 IGMP multicast groups and supports IGMP v1/v2/v3 protocols.

• CAC – Channel Access Control,
• PRV – Preview,

Advanced QoS

The ZTE ZXA10 C320 enables detailed traffic management and transmission prioritization. Each port provides 8 queues, and the device supports SP, DWRR, and SP+DWRR scheduling mechanisms.

QoS functions include:

• traffic classification,
• transmission prioritization,
• bandwidth limiting,
• traffic shaping,
• IPv4 DSCP DiffServ,
• WRED,
• traffic statistics,
• SLA with CIR, PIR, EIR, and MBS parameters.

Network Security

The C320 provides an extensive set of mechanisms designed to protect both the infrastructure and connected users. The device supports Layer 2–4 ACLs, Source Guard, and protection mechanisms against DoS attacks.

Additional functions include:

• MAC/IP Anti-Spoofing,
• DHCP Binding,
• Broadcast, IGMP, and DHCP flooding protection,
• MAC address limiting based on VLAN or GEM port,
• Port Mirroring,
• PPPoE+ authentication,

Management and O&M

The ZTE ZXA10 C320 platform can be managed both locally and remotely. Available interfaces include CLI, Telnet, and SNMP v1/v2c/v3, as well as MIB II.

The device also supports:

• remote software download and upload,
• environmental parameter monitoring,
• device status monitoring,
• alarm handling.

Modular 19" Rack Design

The ZXA10 C320 chassis has a height of 2U and is designed for installation in a standard 19" telecommunications rack. The platform features 2 slots for line cards and 2 slots for control boards. A dedicated slot for the fan module is also provided.

The modular design enables the device configuration to be adapted to the requirements of a specific network and allows the infrastructure to be expanded in the future.
