Description

The Tele-fonika Z-XOTKtsdD 24J fiber optic cable features a multi-tube construction, where loose tubes wrap around a central FRP strengthening rod made of glass fiber. In this configuration, there are two active tubes - each filled with 12 optical fibers - resulting in the designation 2x12. The remaining tubes serve as cable fillers. Additional reinforcement in the form of aramid fiber (kevlar) positively affects the strength parameters.

The fiber optic cable has a mini-tube with a diameter of 1.8 mm. Compared to a classic tube with a diameter of 2.4 mm, the outer diameter of the cable has been reduced, which beneficially affects parameters such as the minimum bending radius (reduced by 30%) and the cable mass.

Application:

The Tele-Fonika Z-XOTKtsdD fiber optic cable is a universal outdoor cable. It features a durable polyethylene outer sheath resistant to UV radiation. Additional reinforcement in the form of aramid fiber (kevlar) positively affects the strength parameters. The tensile strength increases almost threefold compared to a cable without additional reinforcement.
