Huawei H901GPHF is a 16-port GPON board designed for use in Huawei MA5800 series OLTs. The module enables expansion of the OLT platform with additional GPON ports and provides efficient subscriber support in FTTH fiber-optic networks.
The board is equipped with 16 SFP slots, which can accommodate compatible B+ or C+ class GPON OLT SFP modules. Each port supports a maximum optical split ratio of 1:128, allowing the construction of extensive access networks while maintaining a high degree of flexibility in infrastructure design.
Note: OLT SFP modules are not included and must be purchased separately.
Huawei H901GPHF provides 16 independent GPON ports, enabling optical network access for a large number of subscribers. The board supports B+ and C+ class OLT SFP modules, allowing the optical parameters to be matched to the requirements of a particular network infrastructure.
A maximum split ratio of 1:128 per port enables a large number of customers to be served through a single GPON interface.
When all ports are fully utilized, the board can support a very large number of subscriber terminals, depending on the optical split ratio and network architecture used.
Each GPON port provides data transmission speeds of approximately 2.5 Gb/s downstream and 1.25 Gb/s upstream.

The Huawei H901GPHF uses replaceable GPON OLT SFP modules. Support for two optical classes allows the optical power budget to be matched to the length and structure of the designed network.
Using C+ class modules provides a higher optical power budget, which can be particularly important in more extensive installations and networks with higher optical path losses.
Huawei H901GPHF is designed for use with single-mode fiber-optic cables. The maximum specified transmission distance is 20 km, although the actual range depends on factors such as the optical class used, fiber attenuation, the number of connectors and splices, and the optical split ratio.
The fiber-optic interface uses an SC/UPC connector.
The H901GPHF is primarily intended for use in FTTH access infrastructure, where the OLT acts as the central device providing access to fiber-optic services.
