The MA5800-X15 is a Huawei OLT terminal, compatible with GPON/XGPON networks. The chassis is designed in accordance with the Rack 19" standard, with a height of 11U, allowing for the installation of up to 15 service boards. Huawei's new OLT series supports up to 8 times more MAC and ARP addresses than popular models like the MA5683T. It boasts an impressive switching capacity of 7 Tb/s, with a maximum throughput per service board slot reaching 200 Gb/s when using the H901MPLB control board or 100 Gb/s with the H901MPLA control board. The product is also compatible with 16-port GPON boards (2.5 Gb/s), offering numerous possibilities for network expansion.
The terminal stands out with its modern eOTDR feature, allowing the utilization of optical modules with a built-in PON reflectometer with a maximum split of 1:64. Additionally, it supports the DOCSIS 3.1 standard.
