IntelliTone 200 LAN Digital Cable Locator

The IntelliTone series tester is a unique cable locator (for individual cable pairs) that utilizes digital technology (including analog mode). By implementing digital techniques, it enables precise cable and individual pair localization in underfloor installations, ceilings, walls, and bundles of copper cables. Those who have used similar analog devices (working in the acoustic band) that also locate all signals nearby during operation will be pleasantly surprised by its functionality and signal localization precision.

In addition to its basic functionality, the IntelliTone tester allows for the detection of telephone signals (determining signal polarization), verification of connection maps, and identification of active devices located on the other end of the cable run.

Locator properties:

• Testing of twisted pair cables (UTP, FTP, STP), coaxial cables (RG59, RG9 - CATV, CCTV), and single cable pairs.
• Full testing of twisted pair cable connection maps.
• Detection of the following faults: discontinuity, short circuit, crossed pairs, swapped pairs.
• Precise searching for individual pairs in cable bundles, even in the presence of numerous crosstalks (in digital or analog mode).
• Rapid cable location from a large distance, even in an active network.
• Detection of Ethernet network signals, identifying devices connected at the other end of the run – hub/network card.
