The ZTT 96J ADSS fiber optic cable (Z-ADSS-MT-96J.2.7KN-12F/T) is a robust cable with a multi-tube construction (12 fibers per tube - 12F/T) designed for aerial installations on spans up to 90 meters. It is reinforced with a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rod with a diameter of 2.5 mm and aramid fibers. The cable utilizes single-mode G.652D fibers known for their reduced "water peak" characteristics. It is completely dielectric, characterized by high tensile strength (maximum installation tension of 2.7 kN).

The fibers are housed in tubes filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. The outer jacket is made of high-density black HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), resistant to UV radiation, and suitable for both low and high temperatures (from -40°C to 70°C). Additionally, a single ripcord is included to facilitate the stripping of the cable's outer jacket. Apart from aerial networks, the Z-ADSS-MT-96J.2.7KN-12F/T cable can also be successfully used in telecommunication ducts.
