Description

The ZTT microDUCT 2J fiber optic cable is a dielectric, single-tube cable designed for use in external microducts, trench ducts, indoor installations, and cable microducts. The cable is reinforced with aramid fibers, and its tube is filled with thixotropic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. G.657A1 type fibers are compatible with the G.652D standard and have a minimum bending radius of only 10 mm. The outer jacket of the cable is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) in orange color, known for its low friction coefficient and resistance to water, salts, acids, alkalis, alcohols, gasoline, and substances found in telecommunications ducts. The cable can be installed in microducts using pneumatic and mechanical methods. Its outer diameter is only 2.4 mm, and for easier removal of the outer jacket, a single ripcord is used.
