The ZTT 96J ADSS optical fiber cable (Z-ADSS-MT-96J.2.7KN-12F/T) is a robust cable with a multi-tube construction (12 fibers per tube - 12F/T) designed for aerial installation over spans of up to 90 meters. It is reinforced with a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rod with a diameter of 2.5 mm and aramid fibers. It utilizes single-mode fibers of type G.652D, known for their low water peak. The cable is fully dielectric and characterized by high tensile strength (maximum installation tension of 2.7 kN). The fibers are housed in tubes filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. The outer sheath is made of high-density black HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), resistant to UV radiation, low, and high temperatures (from -40°C to 70°C). Additionally, to facilitate stripping of the outer sheath, a ripcord is included. Apart from aerial installations, the Z-ADSS-MT-96J.2.7KN-12F/T cable can also be used successfully in telecommunication ducts.
