The ZTT Fiber Optic Cables 2-24J ADSS are dielectric cables with a single-tube design intended for aerial installations on spans up to 50 meters. They are reinforced with aramid fibers and two Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rods with a diameter of 0.58 mm embedded in the outer layer. These cables utilize single-mode G.652D fibers known for their reduced "water peak" (Zero Water Peak) characteristics.
The fibers are housed in a central tube filled with hydrophobic gel to protect them from moisture and vibrations. The outer jacket is made of high-density black HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) resistant to UV radiation and both low and high temperatures (from -40°C to 70°C). The diameter of the cables ranges from 5.2 to 6.2 mm, and the maximum installation tension is 1 to 1.2 kN. A double ripcord is included to facilitate outer jacket stripping.
These cables are designed for aerial installation, UV resistant, and suitable for a wide range of operating temperatures. Additionally, they can be successfully used in telecommunication ducts besides aerial networks.
