ZTE F680 is a high-performance GPON ONT designed for use in FTTH fiber-optic networks. The device combines the functions of a GPON terminal, Gigabit Ethernet router, Wi-Fi 5 wireless access point and telephony gateway, providing comprehensive support for services delivered to subscribers via fiber-optic infrastructure.
The terminal is equipped with 1 Class B+ GPON port with an SC/UPC connector, 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 FX telephone ports and 1 USB 2.0 port. Wireless connectivity is provided by dual-band Wi-Fi 5 operating in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands.

The terminal is equipped with 6 external antennas supporting wireless communication in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. This design helps provide a stable Wi-Fi connection in typical home and office environments.
The ZTE F680 supports modern wireless network security mechanisms, including WPA3. This helps improve Wi-Fi communication security and protect network access against unauthorized users.
The device is equipped with 2 FX telephone ports, allowing analog telephones to be connected and voice services provided by the operator to be used.
Integrating telephony functionality with the GPON terminal makes it possible to provide both data transmission and telephone services over a single fiber-optic infrastructure.
The ZTE F680 also features 1 USB 2.0 port, which can be used to connect compatible USB devices, depending on the terminal’s software configuration and the services provided by the operator.
The terminal includes a built-in DHCP server, which automatically assigns IP addresses to devices connected to the local network.
The ZTE F680 also supports Dynamic DNS (DDNS) and No-IP, allowing a permanent hostname to be used even when the public IP address changes dynamically.
