ZTE ZXHN F668 GPON ONT – 4× Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, 2× POTS, USB and CATV

ZTE ZXHN F668 is an advanced GPON ONT optical network terminal designed for use in FTTH fiber-optic networks. The device combines the functions of an optical terminal, router, WiFi access point, voice gateway and CATV interface, allowing multiple services to be delivered through a single device.

The terminal provides broadband Internet access and supports VoIP, IPTV and CATV services. Thanks to its high data forwarding performance, it can serve as the central element of a home or small business network infrastructure.

GPON interface

ZTE ZXHN F668 complies with the ITU-T G.984 standard and features 1 GPON port with an SC/APC connector. The interface provides data rates of up to 2.488 Gb/s downstream and 1.244 Gb/s upstream.

The terminal can be used as an FTTH network termination point, providing the user with access to broadband services delivered by the operator.

Optical interface parameters include:

• downstream wavelength: 1480–1500 nm,
• upstream wavelength: 1290–1330 nm,
• receiver sensitivity: -28 dBm,
• support for 8 T-CONTs,
• support for 32 GEM Ports.

4 Gigabit Ethernet ports

The terminal is equipped with 4 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T ports, allowing wired connection of computers, TVs, IPTV set-top boxes, game consoles, switches and other network devices.

The Gigabit Ethernet ports make it possible to take advantage of the high bandwidth offered by the GPON network and provide a stable connection for bandwidth-intensive devices.

2.4 GHz WiFi

ZTE ZXHN F668 features an integrated WiFi access point operating in the 2.4 GHz band. The device supports the IEEE 802.11b/g/n standard and 2×2 MIMO technology, providing wireless Internet access for computers, smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs and other devices.

The terminal supports security mechanisms including:

• WEP,
• WPA-PSK,
• WPA2-PSK,
• mixed security mode,
• WPS.

This makes it possible to create a convenient and secure wireless local network.

POTS telephone ports

The device features 2 POTS ports, allowing analog telephones to be connected and used with VoIP voice services.

Two independent telephone interfaces make it possible to connect more voice devices without the need for additional VoIP gateways.

CATV interface

ZTE ZXHN F668 is also equipped with an RF CATV interface, enabling television signals to be delivered to compatible devices.

The combination of GPON, CATV and IPTV support allows the terminal to be used for television services delivered over FTTH infrastructure.

USB 2.0 port

The terminal features 1 USB 2.0 port, which can be used to connect compatible storage devices and other USB peripherals.

The device supports features including file sharing and DLNA, allowing connected resources to be accessed by devices within the local network.

• OMCI management,
• TR-069 support.

This allows the operator to remotely configure and monitor the terminal and efficiently manage subscriber devices within an FTTH network.

Triple Play service support

The extensive connectivity of the ZTE ZXHN F668 enables the delivery of Triple Play services, including:

The terminal operates at temperatures from 0°C to 40°C, with relative humidity ranging from 5% to 95%.
