Pressure end caps are professional components used in fiber optic microduct systems designed for installing optical fibers using compressed-air blowing technology. They are intended for the permanent and airtight sealing of microduct ends, protecting the installation against dirt, moisture, and pressure loss. Thanks to their compatibility with both thin-walled and thick-walled microducts, they provide a universal solution for various systems. The fittings are available in the following sizes: 7 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, and 20 mm.
Pressure end caps are made from durable and resistant materials that ensure many years of reliable operation under demanding conditions. The polycarbonate body provides mechanical resistance and transparency, allowing visual inspection of correct installation. POM used in the reinforcing components and clip ensures reliable stability, while the 304 stainless steel clamping ring provides effective compression and long-lasting connection strength. The NBR seal ensures pneumatic tightness of the system.
The end caps are designed for quick, convenient, and tool-free installation. Their construction provides a high IP68 sealing rating, confirming resistance to water, dust, and high air pressure. The expected service life of the fittings is at least 25 years, while their resistance to vibration and impact allows them to be used even in demanding field conditions. The transparent body enables easy visual inspection, while manufacturing in accordance with European standards and ISO 9001:2015 ensures high product quality.
The fittings maintain full functionality at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C and relative humidity levels from 5% to 100%. During storage and transport, they can be safely kept at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, simplifying logistics and handling.

Pressure end caps should always be selected according to the outer diameter of the microduct. For example, for a 14/10 mm microduct, a 14 mm end cap should be used. Selecting the correct diameter ensures complete sealing and proper operation of the system.
