Compression end caps are professional components used in fiber-optic microduct installations operating with blown-fiber technology using compressed air. They are designed for permanent and airtight sealing of microduct ends, protecting the installation against contamination, moisture, and pressure loss. Thanks to their compatibility with both thin-wall and thick-wall microducts, they provide a universal solution for a wide range of systems. The end caps are available in the following sizes: 7 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, and 20 mm.
The pressure end caps are manufactured from durable, high-performance materials that ensure long-term reliability under demanding conditions.
The polycarbonate body offers high mechanical strength and transparency, allowing visual inspection of correct installation. POM used in the reinforcing elements and locking clip ensures stable and reliable fixation, while the stainless-steel 304 clamping ring provides strong compression and long-lasting connection integrity. An NBR seal guarantees pneumatic tightness of the system.
The end caps are designed for fast, convenient, and tool-free installation. Their construction provides a high level of sealing performance, confirmed by an IP68 rating, ensuring resistance to water, dust, and high air pressure. The expected service life is at least 25 years. Resistance to vibrations and mechanical shocks allows use even in harsh field conditions. The transparent housing enables easy inspection, and manufacturing in accordance with European standards and ISO 9001:2015 ensures consistent product quality.
The connectors maintain full functionality within a temperature range from −20°C to +50°C and at humidity levels from 5% to 100%. During storage and transport, they can be safely handled at temperatures from −10°C to +50°C, simplifying logistics.

End caps must always be selected according to the outer diameter of the microduct. For example, a 14/10 microduct requires a 14 mm end cap. Correct diameter selection ensures full sealing performance and proper system operation.
