12 mm Pressure End Cap for Microduct

Pressure end caps are professional fittings used in fiber optic microduct systems designed for fiber installation using compressed-air blowing technology. They are used to permanently and tightly seal the ends of microducts, protecting the installation against dirt, moisture, and pressure loss. Thanks to their compatibility with both thin-walled and thick-walled microducts, they provide a versatile solution for a wide range of systems. The fittings are available in the following sizes: 7 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, and 20 mm.

Construction and Materials

The pressure end caps are made of durable, resistant materials designed to provide many years of reliable operation under demanding conditions. The polycarbonate body offers high mechanical resistance and transparency, allowing visual inspection of correct installation. POM used in the reinforcing elements and clip ensures reliable stability, while the 304 stainless steel clamping ring provides effective compression and long-lasting connection durability. The NBR seal ensures pneumatic tightness of the system.

Operating Conditions

The fittings maintain full functionality at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C and humidity levels from 5% to 100%. During storage and transport, they can be safely kept at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, simplifying logistics and handling.

Fitting Selection

End caps should always be selected according to the outer diameter of the microduct. For example, for a 14/10 microduct, a 14 mm end cap should be used. Selecting the correct diameter ensures complete sealing and proper operation of the system.
