Pressure End Plug for Microduct 

Pressure end plugs are professional components used in fiber-optic microduct installations designed for cable blowing with compressed air. They are used to permanently and tightly seal the ends of microducts, protecting the installation against dirt, moisture, and pressure loss. Thanks to their compatibility with both thin-walled and thick-walled microducts, they provide a versatile solution for a wide range of systems. The plugs are available in the following sizes: 7 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, and 20 mm.

Construction and Materials

The pressure end plugs are made of durable and resistant materials that ensure many years of reliable operation under demanding conditions. The polycarbonate body provides high mechanical strength and transparency, allowing visual inspection of proper installation. POM used in the reinforcing elements and clip ensures reliable stability, while the 304 stainless steel clamping ring provides effective compression and long-lasting connection durability. The NBR seal ensures pneumatic tightness of the system.

Operating Conditions

The fittings retain full functionality at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C and at relative humidity levels from 5% to 100%. During storage and transport, they can be safely handled at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, simplifying logistics.

Plug Selection

The plugs should always be selected according to the outer diameter of the microduct. For example, for a 14/10 mm microduct, a 14 mm plug should be used. Selecting the correct diameter ensures complete tightness and proper operation of the system.
