FIBERM microduct bundles are a versatile fiber optic microduct system used not only for the construction and expansion of telecommunication networks, but also in infrastructure projects, such as road construction, expansion of technical duct systems and FTTH networks in urban and rural areas. Their modular design, mechanical resistance and compliance with applicable standards make them ideal products for installation in both new and existing infrastructure.

FIBERM microduct bundles are supplied with a complete set of required technical documentation, certificates and laboratory test results, confirming their compliance with applicable national and European standards. This allows them to be used without restrictions in all types of investment projects – both in telecommunications infrastructure and in road construction as well as technical duct expansion projects. The products comply, among others, with PN–EN 61386–1, PN–EN 61386–24 and ZN–30/2008 standards, ensuring safety, durability and full compliance with the requirements of institutions supervising construction and installation processes.

Microducts are manufactured from virgin high-density polyethylene with grooved inner walls featuring a low-friction sliding layer. Microducts have a smooth external surface free from irregularities. They feature permanent color markings. Marker printing and identification labels are applied every 1 m on each microduct according to a unified marking scheme.

• Connectors: compatible with all standard microduct connectors, compliant with ZN–30/2008
• Drum type: available options include skeletal drums or wooden drums – depending on the configuration and quantity; supplied on a 120x120 cm pallet (via freight transport).
• Expected product lifetime: up to 50 years under proper operating conditions
• Temperature range – installation: from –10°C to +60°C
• Temperature range – transport, storage and operation: from –40°C to +70°C
• Recommended microcable diameters for blowing: 50–75% of the microduct internal diameter – for optimal installation performance

FIBERM microducts have undergone extensive testing in accordance with international IEC and EN standards. The tests include, among others:

• Crush resistance test – 2000 N for 60 seconds: no damage detected
• Impact resistance test – 5 J: no damage detected
• Tensile and bending tests – maintaining material integrity
• Twisting and flexing tests – resistance to repeated mechanical stresses
• Abrasion resistance test – durability of prints and markings
• Kinking and duct continuity tests – full microduct functionality maintained
• Pressure tests (short-term and long-term) – guaranteed sealing performance
