Gas-tight sealing system TDUX-35 – gas-inflated cable duct sealing system

TDUX-35 is a professional wrap-around sealing system for telecommunications ducts, designed for permanent protection of cable pipes against the ingress of water, moisture, and gases. The system is inflated with gas under internal pressure, providing complete water- and gas-tightness up to 50 kPa. The product effectively protects cable chambers, telecommunications enclosures, and fiber optic as well as copper infrastructure against flooding.

The TDUX sealing system can be used in plastic (PE, PVC), concrete, and steel ducts. It is suitable for both empty pipes and ducts containing cables with polyethylene or lead sheathing. The wrap-around design enables perfect adaptation even to cables with an elliptical cross-section.

TDUX-CL Clips

For installations containing more than 3 cables, the use of TDUX-CL clips is required. They:

• stabilize the sealing structure,

• enable correct positioning of multiple cables,

• increase the durability and safety of the system,

• prevent cable displacement during installation.

Inflation tool – TYCO Electronics T-DUX-IT-16

Installation requires inflating the TDUX sleeve with gas — for this purpose, a CO₂ inflation gun is used. The manufacturer recommends the tool: TDUX T-DUX-IT-16, which enables the required operating pressure of the sleeve to be achieved.

• Sealing empty cable ducts or ducts containing 1–2 cables

• Installations in cable ducts made of PVC, PE, concrete, or steel pipes
