DELFIN INLET SEAL
(mounting socket / rubber gland / insitu insert / HOFIT seal / double-bell seal)
The DELFIN inlet seal is designed to create tight connections for additional smooth-walled protective pipes of a defined diameter. It is used in water supply systems, telecommunications, energy installations, as well as various types of tanks, water meter chambers, and enclosures with smooth surfaces.
Its primary function is to seal the transition between a pipe and a connection made from a material with a smooth surface. For proper installation, a hole of the appropriate diameter must be cut at the mounting location.
Features and Benefits:
made from high-quality EPDM rubber compound (ethylene propylene diene monomer)
high resistance to aging, weather conditions, UV radiation, and ozone
chemical resistance to organic and inorganic acids, potassium and sodium bases, and cleaning agents
retains elasticity and mechanical properties across a wide temperature range: from -50°C to +130°C
excellent elasticity and “shape memory” – returns to original form after deformation
easy to install and provides reliable sealing
Technical Specifications:
Material: EPDM rubber
Hardness: 55°–60° ShA
The DELFIN seal is a durable and reliable solution for ensuring tightness under demanding operating conditions.
