DELFIN Inlet Gasket
(installer's coupling / rubber gland / insitu insert / HOFIT gasket / double-socket gasket)
The DELFIN-type inlet gasket is designed to create tight, sealed connections for additional smooth-walled protective pipes of a specific diameter. It is used in water supply, telecommunications, energy installations, and in various types of tanks, water meter chambers, and housings with smooth walls.
Its main function is to seal the passage between the pipe and a connection made in a smooth-surfaced material. Proper installation requires cutting an appropriately sized hole at the insertion point.
Features and Benefits:
Made from high-quality EPDM rubber compound (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber)
Excellent resistance to aging, weather conditions, UV radiation, and ozone
Chemical resistance to organic and inorganic acids, potassium and sodium bases, and cleaning agents
Maintains flexibility and mechanical properties over a wide temperature range: from -50°C to +130°C
Very good elasticity and "shape memory" – returns to original form after deformation
Easy to install and provides reliable sealing
Technical Specifications:
Material: EPDM rubber
Hardness: 55°–60° ShA
The DELFIN gasket is a durable and reliable solution that ensures tightness in demanding operating conditions.
