DELFIN Inlet Seal
(mounting sleeve / rubber gland / in-situ insert / HOFIT seal / double-socket seal)
The DELFIN-type inlet seal is designed for creating tight connections for additional smooth-walled protective pipes of a specific diameter. It is used in water supply, telecommunications, energy installations, as well as in various types of tanks, water meter chambers, and housings with smooth interior walls.
Its main function is to seal the passage between a pipe and a connector made of a smooth-surfaced material. Proper installation requires cutting a hole of appropriate diameter at the intended mounting point.
Features and Benefits:
Made from high-quality EPDM rubber compound (ethylene propylene diene monomer)
Excellent resistance to aging, weather conditions, UV radiation, and ozone
Chemically resistant to organic and inorganic acids, potassium and sodium bases, and cleaning agents
Maintains flexibility and mechanical properties in a wide temperature range: from -50°C to +130°C
Very good elasticity and "shape memory" – returns to its original form after deformation
Easy to install and ensures reliable sealing
Material: EPDM rubber
Hardness: 55°–60° ShA
The DELFIN seal is a durable and reliable solution, providing leak-tight performance in demanding operational conditions.
