Ubiquiti UFiber OLT – High-Performance GPON Terminal for Modern Fiber Networks
The Ubiquiti UFiber OLT is a professional optical line terminal (OLT) designed for large-scale and scalable FTTH (Fiber To The Home) deployments. Featuring 8 GPON ports and 2 uplink SFP+ 10G ports, the device supports up to 1024 ONU/ONT clients, delivering a reliable and high-performance infrastructure capable of data transmission over distances of up to 20 kilometers.
Each of the 8 GPON ports supports a 1:128 split ratio, allowing for up to 128 clients per port. With an aggregate capacity to handle 1024 end-user devices, the UF-OLT delivers 2.488 Gb/s downstream and 1.244 Gb/s upstream per port — ensuring smooth delivery of data, voice, and video services.
The UF-OLT includes dual power slots, with one 54V 100W AC/DC module included. The second slot is available for optional backup power (AC/DC or DC/DC), enhancing the system’s reliability and resilience against power failures.
Two 10G SFP+ uplink ports enable high-speed connectivity to your network core. The device can be managed via a web interface, RJ45 console port, or through UISP software (formerly UNMS), which allows remote configuration and monitoring across multiple sites.
The UF-OLT is built for easy integration into standard 1U rackmount server cabinets. Despite its powerful performance, it features low power consumption (up to 40W), making it an energy-efficient solution for network expansion.
