The AirFiber 4X is a radio operating in the 4 GHz frequency range (4700 - 4990 MHz) designed for point-to-point connections over long distances. It offers high throughput of up to 500 Mbps. Utilizing modern technologies, it enables establishing transmissions over distances of up to 200 km (depending on the antennas used and interference). Thanks to GPS location and synchronization, AirFiber X devices can operate without interfering with each other. The Hybrid Division Duplexing (HDD) technology has allowed achieving very low latency, further improving transmission quality.
The offered product is an excellent solution in areas where free bands are prone to interference. The 4 GHz frequency enables establishing connections in challenging environments and, according to the manufacturer, can reach a range of up to 200 km (depending on the antennas used). The maximum transmit power is 29 dBm.
An additional advantage is the compatibility of the device with standard AirFiber Slant antennas and Rocket Dishes (with the use of an adapter). This allows for the replacement of only the AirFiber 5X radio in locations where the 5 GHz band experiences too much interference, without the need to purchase new antennas.
The device is compatible with antennas such as AirFiber Dish 5G30 Slant 45 (650 mm), AirFiber Dish 5G34 Slant 45 (1050 mm), as well as Rocket Dish 5G30 (648 mm) and Rocket Dish 5G34 (1050 mm) - Rocket Dishes can be connected using a special adapter - AirFiber OMT RD conversion kit.
