Easy Installation and Placement
Users can easily extend the range of their wireless network without any additional cables by placing the device within the range of the existing wireless network. Simply press the WPS button on the router and then press the Range Extender button on the extender (in any order).
Ethernet Connection
The single Ethernet port of the TL-WA850RE extender allows it to be used as a network card, enabling the connection of wired network devices such as Blu-ray® players, game consoles, and digital TV decoders to the wireless network. At the same time, the device boosts the wireless network signal.
Signal Strength Indicator
The extender is equipped with 5 LEDs showing the strength of the received wireless network signal, helping to determine the optimal location for placing the device to achieve the maximum range and performance of wireless connections.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to place the extender where at least 3 blue LEDs are lit.
Tether App
Control the extender with your phone, for example, you can turn off the device LEDs so they don't disturb your peaceful sleep.
