TP-Link EC220-G5 is a dual-band, wireless AC1200 router with TR-069 and Agile Config features designed specifically for Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
The EC220-G5 model supports the CWMP TR-069 protocol for auto-provisioning and is compatible with Agile Config, allowing customization of default settings (without a full reset) and personalization of logos and favicons. The router supports TR-069, TR-098, and TR-111 communication protocols, enabling auto-provisioning configuration. It also supports PPTP server and allows remote configuration.
The router operates in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands according to IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/a/ac standards. It has 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports (3 LAN ports and 1 WAN port). The maximum theoretical transmission throughput is 1200 Mbps (300 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps in 5 GHz). The router is equipped with four external omnidirectional antennas.
It supports MU-MIMO technology and Beamforming. MU-MIMO technology allows simultaneous communication with two devices, reduces downtime, provides devices with greater bandwidth, and increases data stream performance. Beamforming technology detects devices and sends a strong Wi-Fi signal towards them, ensuring stability and reliability of connections.
Access Point control and band steering features ensure smooth connections with devices offering the best connections as they move around the house. When integrated with each other as part of a mesh network, devices provide access to reliable, intelligent, and easy-to-configure Wi-Fi connections that cover the entire home area.
Features:
5th generation Wi-Fi: 300 Mbps in 2.4 GHz band + 867 Mbps in 5 GHz band.
