The TP-Link Archer C6U is a dual-band, wireless gigabit router that supports the 802.11ac standard.
The Archer C6U utilizes 2x2 MU-MIMO technology in both bands, enabling simultaneous transmission at speeds of 867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, providing a total throughput of up to 1200 Mbps. MU-MIMO technology delivers higher speed, throughput, and efficiency, allowing simultaneous communication with two devices. Additionally, Beamforming technology allows for the concentration of the Wi-Fi signal on a specific device, even if it is located in a distant location or has a low power level.
The router is equipped with 4 external antennas (two for each band), one internal antenna, and 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (4 LAN, 1 WAN). It can also function as an access point. The Archer C6U also features a USB 2.0 port for file, photo, video, and other sharing.
Configuring the router according to your needs is quick and easy thanks to the intuitive interface and Tether app. This is the fastest way to access and manage the device using your smartphone.
