Tele-Fonika Z-XOTKtsdD Fiber Optic Cable

The Tele-Fonika Z-XOTKtsdD fiber optic cable is designed for installation in primary ducts (Ø110 mm) or secondary ducts (Ø32 mm and Ø40 mm). Thanks to its external aramid yarn reinforcement (Kevlar), it can also be suspended from telecommunications poles, low- and medium-voltage power poles, and railway traction poles, with spans of approximately 50 m between poles.
The cable is entirely dielectric, which allows it to be installed in the vicinity of medium- and high-voltage power lines. It provides excellent moisture protection and features a UV-resistant outer sheath.

Application
The Tele-Fonika Z-XOTKtsdD fiber optic cable is a universal outdoor cable designed for operation in demanding environmental conditions.
The HDPE outer sheath provides resistance to UV radiation and mechanical damage.
Additional reinforcement with aramid yarns significantly improves the cable’s mechanical strength, increasing its tensile resistance by up to three times compared with cables without aramid reinforcement.
The cable can be installed in cable ducts, pipelines and aerial networks, as well as directly suspended from telecommunications and power poles.

Mechanical Properties
Z-XOTKtsdD cables with 1.8 mm tubes and a capacity of 12–96 fibers have a tensile strength of up to 3,000 N, equivalent to approximately 300 kg.
The use of aramid yarn reinforcement (Kevlar) allows the cable to be installed in locations exposed to increased mechanical stress, for example in aerial suspension applications. A lower-strength and more cost-effective alternative is the Z-XOTKtsd version, which has no aramid reinforcement but features the same outer sheath and UV resistance.
