Stainless Steel Mounting Band AISI 201, 50 m, Width 9.5 mm, Thickness 0.6 mm

Stainless steel mounting band is a versatile solution designed for permanent fastening of cables, wires, pipes, masts, poles, road signs, and components of telecommunications, power, and industrial infrastructure. Depending on the selected version, the band can be made of AISI 201, AISI 430, or AISI 304 stainless steel, allowing its properties to be matched to the operating conditions and requirements of a specific installation. The band is characterized by high mechanical strength, a smooth surface finish, and rounded edges, which improve safety during installation and reduce the risk of damage to the fastened components.

Differences between AISI 201, 430 and 304 stainless steel

The individual stainless steel grades differ primarily in corrosion resistance, mechanical properties, and price. AISI 201 is an economical option intended mainly for less demanding applications, particularly indoors and in environments with limited exposure to moisture. AISI 430 provides good corrosion resistance under mild conditions and represents an intermediate solution. AISI 304 / 1.4301 offers the highest corrosion resistance of these three grades and is particularly recommended for outdoor, telecommunications, power, and industrial applications where the band is exposed to moisture, changing weather conditions, or contamination.

Versatile applications

Stainless steel mounting bands are used wherever durable, strong, and environmentally resistant fastening is required.

They can be used, among other applications, for:

  • installation of fiber optic and telecommunications cables,
  • fastening electrical wires and cables,
  • installation of ventilation ducts,
  • fastening steel and plastic pipes,
  • installation of masts and poles,
  • mounting road signs,
  • suspending additional equipment from cable routes,
  • fastening components to process piping,
  • bundling pipes together,
  • mounting fittings to flexible hoses,
  • securing components for transport,
  • constructing support structures.

Applications in telecommunications

Mounting band is particularly useful during the construction and modernization of fiber optic networks, FTTH systems, and telecommunications infrastructure. It can be used to fasten cables, protective conduits, and additional equipment to poles, masts, and other structural components.

For outdoor installations where the material is required to retain its properties for many years, the AISI 304 stainless steel version is particularly suitable.

Corrosion resistance

The use of different stainless steel grades makes it possible to select a band suitable for specific environmental conditions. AISI 201 is suitable for less demanding environments, AISI 430 for environments with moderate corrosive exposure, while AISI 304 is intended for more demanding applications, including outdoor installations.

The bands can be used, among other environments, in:

  • electrical power transmission networks,

Safe rounded edges

The bands feature rounded edges that improve comfort and safety during installation. They reduce the risk of cuts during handling and minimize the possibility of damaging the insulation of cables and wires.

The smooth surface finish also makes the band easier to shape when creating fastening loops.

High mechanical strength

The stainless steel band provides high mechanical strength and enables durable fastening. Availability in different widths and thicknesses makes it possible to select the appropriate version according to the size of the component being fastened and the required load capacity.
