Synaptic 72F Optical Fiber Cable is characterized by a robust multi-tube construction with high flexibility and tensile strength. It contains a central reinforcing element made of an FRP rod (fiber-reinforced plastic), gel, and a water-blocking (WB) structure. The cable is equipped with moisture-absorbing fibers (WSY) or an anti-moisture tape, making it fully dielectric. The HDPE (high-density polyethylene) outer sheath with a thickness of 1.5 mm provides resistance to UV radiation, while the cable operates within a temperature range of -40 to +60°C.

• High Tensile Strength: The cable withstands a maximum installation tensile force of up to 1500N.
• Fiber Color Coding: All fibers are manufactured by Corning, specification SMF-28 Ultra, compliant with ITU-T G652D/G657A1 standards. The cable tubes are color-coded according to the IEC304 standard.
• Moisture Protection: Each tube, containing up to 12 fibers, is filled with hydrophobic gel, protecting the fibers against moisture and vibrations. The cable core is protected against water ingress using moisture-absorbing fibers or anti-moisture tape.
• Central Reinforcing Element: The cable tubes and filler elements are stranded around the central FRP rod, providing additional strength and durability.
• Ease of Installation: Two embedded ripcords facilitate removal of the outer sheath. The cable is designed for installation in primary and secondary telecommunications ducts using pneumatic methods (blowing) and mechanical methods (pulling).
