The SYNAPTIC Z-XOTKtsd 48F (4x12) fiber optic cable is a high-quality, fully dielectric outdoor cable designed for the construction of modern FTTH, FTTx and backbone fiber optic networks. Its construction, based on 4 tubes with 12 fibers each, ensures optimal fiber organization, easy access during splicing and high operational reliability.
The cable core is reinforced with a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) rod, providing high mechanical strength while maintaining low weight. The 1.8 mm diameter tubes are filled with hydrophobic gel, protecting the fibers against moisture, vibration and mechanical damage. Additional protection against water migration is provided by water-swellable yarns or water-blocking tape, making the cable highly suitable for demanding outdoor environments.
The outer sheath is made of HDPE polyethylene, offering high resistance to UV radiation, abrasion and atmospheric conditions, ensuring a long service life of the installation. The 8 mm outer diameter allows the cable to be easily installed using both pneumatic methods (air blowing) and mechanical methods (pulling) in primary and secondary telecommunications duct systems.
The cable uses Corning SMF-28 Ultra fibers, compliant with ITU-T G.652.D and G.657.A1, ensuring excellent transmission performance and full compatibility with modern optical networks.
