The OPTIX AirFlow S-QOTKSdD cable is a universal (indoor-outdoor), round, self-supporting cable designed for use in FTTx systems. It is reinforced with aramid fibers (used as the supporting element in aerial installations) and features a lightweight construction with a small diameter of approximately 3mm, providing flexibility and resistance to tension. The cable is coated with PU and has a UV-resistant sheath, making it completely dielectric.
With an installation tension strength of 800N and a temperature range from -20°C to +60°C, it is equivalent to the S-QOTKSdD cable.
The construction is specifically designed to provide excellent fiber protection while enabling easy cable routing and mounting. The use of G.657A2 fibers further allows for reducing the bending radius (even down to 7.5mm).
These cables are suitable for aerial installations on spans of 80-100m and in primary and secondary telecommunication ducts using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods.
The cable is wound on user-friendly rotating reels of 1000 meters each and packaged in cardboard boxes.
