Description

The installation cable labeled SXKD-5E-FTP-PE-SAM is a self-supporting CAT5E cable with a PE jacket. It is designed for outdoor use where cables with PVC or LSOH jackets do not provide adequate protection against atmospheric conditions.

A key component of this cable is a steel wire embedded in separate insulation, allowing the cable to be suspended without the need for additional support lines for distances up to 70 meters.

When used in conjunction with other components of the Solarix structured cabling system, it ensures long-term durability, maximum performance, and seamless network traffic. Solarix installation cables, Category 5E, are intended for horizontal connections and are offered in shielded and unshielded versions with various types of shielding, including PVC (fire reaction class Eca), LSOH (fire reaction class Dca s1 d2 a1), or UV stable PE (fire reaction class Fca).

These cables easily meet the requirements defined in international standards ANSI/TIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801, and EN 50173 for Category 5E and Class D cables, including all the latest additions.

Similar to other Solarix cables, the SXKD-5E-FTP-PE-SAM cable is marked on the PE jacket every meter within the range of 0 to 305 meters.

The cable is delivered on a spool, which contains all necessary product information, including barcodes, batch numbers, description, and main technical parameters.
