The Solarix installation cable - category 6 labeled SXKD-6-FTP-LSOH is a high-quality, shielded cable with an LSOH jacket that not only meets but also exceeds the requirements specified in international standards ANSI/TIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801, and EN 50173 for category 6 and Class E cables, including all the latest additions. Solarix category 6 cables are available in both shielded and unshielded versions, with various types of jackets such as PVC (fire reaction class Eca), LSOH (fire reaction class Dca-s2,d2,a1), or UV stable PE (fire reaction class Fca). The cable conductors are made of very high-quality AWG 23 copper wire. Individual cable pairs are separated by a plastic cross. The SXKD-6-FTP-LSOH cable is marked with length indicators every 1 meter and is wound on a sturdy wooden reel, which contains all the necessary product information, including barcodes, production batch numbers, and main technical parameters.
Solarix LSOH installation cables comply with the following standards:
A) Acidity of gases evolved during combustion:
IEC 60754-2: Test on gases evolved during combustion of electric cables - Part 2: Determination of degree of acidity of gases evolved during combustion of materials taken from electric cables by measuring pH and conductivity
PN EN 60754-2: Test on gases evolved during combustion of materials taken from cables and cords -- Part 2: Determination of acidity (by pH measurement) and conductivity
B) Smoke density:
IEC 61034-2: Measurement of smoke density of cables burning under defined conditions - Part 2: Test procedure and requirements
PN EN 61034-2: Measurement of smoke density during combustion of cables under defined conditions - Part 2: Test method and requirements
C) Flame propagation resistance in a single cable insulation:
IEC 60332-1-2: Tests on electric and optical fibre cables under fire conditions - Part 1-2: Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable - Procedure for 1 kW pre-mixed flame
PN EN 60332-1-2: Tests on electric and optical fibre cables under fire conditions - Part 1-2: Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable - Procedure for 1 kW pre-mixed flame
D) Regulation No 305/2011 (CPR):
PN EN 50575:2014 with amendment A1:2016: Electric, control, and communication cables -- Cables and cords for general applications in construction works with defined fire resistance class
