Cable Chamber Frame 

A cable chamber frame is a key structural element of the upper part of a cable chamber, serving as a stable support for the cover. It is designed to withstand loads from pedestrian and vehicular traffic on surfaces such as sidewalks or roads with medium traffic intensity. Thanks to its construction, the frame ensures proper stability and safe use of the cable chamber in both public and private spaces.

This frame is made entirely of steel, with its interior filled with reinforced concrete, significantly increasing its strength and resistance to damage. The concrete used in the frame is class B125, meaning it is designed to withstand loads of up to 12.5 tons. This makes it ideal for use in areas with medium traffic intensity, such as residential zones, public roads, parking lots, housing estates, or sidewalks where there is frequent vehicle movement. The frame is installed on the chamber body using concrete mortar, ensuring proper stability and durability.

The cable chamber frame not only performs a load-bearing function but also improves the aesthetics of the chamber opening. Concrete load classes:

• A15 – Suitable for loads up to 1.5 tons. Used in areas with low vehicle traffic and small loads, such as sidewalks or low-traffic spaces.

• B125 – Suitable for loads up to 12.5 tons. Used in medium-traffic areas such as road shoulders, parking lots, or smaller residential roads.

• C250 – Suitable for loads up to 25 tons. Used in higher traffic areas, including roads where delivery vehicles and light trucks operate.

• D400 – Suitable for loads up to 40 tons. Used in high-traffic areas such as streets, highways, and maneuvering yards for heavy trucks and transport vehicles.

Choosing the correct concrete class is crucial depending on the surface type and traffic level in the given location. A B125 concrete frame is an excellent choice where moderate strength requirements are needed, providing safety and durability for many years of service.
