QUIKSET Q1000 Winter – Winter Post Installation Compound

QUIKSET Q1000 Winter is a specialist two-component foundation compound based on polymer resins, designed for the fast and durable installation of posts and various structural elements in low-temperature conditions.

The product has been developed for winter applications and allows foundations to be installed even at temperatures as low as -20°C. The compound is intended for installing steel, wooden, aluminium and plastic posts in holes with a diameter of 15 to 25 cm.

QUIKSET Q1000 Winter is a convenient alternative to traditional concrete. It does not require water, electricity or heavy equipment, and the entire installation process is fast, clean and simple.

Installation in Low Temperatures

The compound has been developed specifically for work carried out during the autumn and winter seasons. It can be used even at ambient temperatures down to -20°C, provided that the product packaging reaches a temperature of approximately +20°C before use.

QUIKSET Q1000 Winter creates a stable foundation resistant to moisture and changing weather conditions. It allows complete installation of fencing or other elements approximately 15–30 minutes after application.

Example Installation Possibilities

One package of QUIKSET Q1000 Winter allows the installation of a post measuring approximately 6 × 4 cm or with a diameter of 3–6 cm in a hole with a diameter of 15 cm and a depth of up to 120 cm.

The product can also be used in holes measuring:

• 20 × 20 cm made with a spade,
• 20 cm diameter and 60 cm depth.

Thanks to the smaller hole diameter compared with traditional concrete installation, the process is easier and the amount of excavated soil is significantly reduced.

Approximate Consumption

For posts measuring 4 × 4 cm, 6 × 4 cm, 5 × 5 cm, 6 × 6 cm and round posts with a diameter of 3–6 cm:

• hole 10 × 60 cm – Q300, 1 unit,
• hole 15 × 60 cm – Q700, 1 unit,
• hole 15 × 90 cm – Q1000, 1 unit.

For posts measuring 7 × 7 cm and 8 × 8 cm:

• hole 13 × 60 cm – Q300, 1 unit,
• hole 15 × 60 cm – Q1000, approx. ½ unit,
• hole 20 × 60 cm – Q1000, 1 unit.

For posts measuring 9 × 9 cm:

• hole 15 × 60 cm – Q700, approx. ½ unit,
• hole 20 × 60 cm – Q1000, 1 unit.

For posts measuring 10 × 10 cm:

• hole 20 × 60 cm – Q700, 1 unit.
