The RSBJ heat shrink sleeve is a high-quality solution designed to effectively protect cable joints from external influences — including mechanical, environmental, and chemical factors. This product performs exceptionally well in telecommunication installations, regardless of the network type — aerial, duct, or directly buried.
The sleeve is made from cross-linked low-density polyethylene, ensuring high durability and resistance to environmental conditions across a wide temperature range: from -45°C to +60°C. The inner layer is coated with a hot-melt adhesive, which guarantees a completely sealed and long-lasting bond with the cable.
Additional protection and proper shaping of the joint during the shrinking process are provided by a special metallized insert, which acts as a thermal barrier. The sleeve allows the introduction of up to three cables from each side, thanks to compatibility with BOKT-type clips.
Installation is intuitive, aided by visual indicators such as thermochromic paint and alignment lines along the clip, which signal the correct completion point of the heating process.
