The RSBJ heat shrink sleeve is a high-quality solution designed to provide effective protection for cable joints against harmful external factors—mechanical, environmental, and chemical. This product is ideal for use in telecommunications installations, regardless of the network type: aerial, duct, or directly buried in the ground.
Made from cross-linked low-density polyethylene, the sleeve offers exceptional durability and resistance to environmental conditions across a wide temperature range: from -45°C to +60°C. The inner layer is coated with a hot-melt adhesive, ensuring complete sealing and a secure bond with the cable.
Additional protection and shaping of the joint during the heating process are provided by a special metallized insert that insulates against high temperatures. Thanks to the option of using BOKT-type clips, the sleeve allows the insertion of up to three cables from each side.
The installation process is intuitive, assisted by indicators such as thermochromatic paint and a guide line along the clip, both of which signal the correct moment to complete the heating process.
The kit includes:
Heat shrink sheet
Clip for edge joining
Metallized insert
Cable ties
Sandpaper
Insulating tape
Cleaning wipes
Shield connector
Self-adhesive aluminum foil
