The Opton ADSS-XOTKtsdD fiber optic cable is a self-supporting, axial cable designed for aerial installations. It is equipped with 24 fibers housed in 2 tubes (12 fibers per tube). The tubes are twisted around a central reinforcing element - an FRP rod with a diameter of 1.6 mm. The cable stands out with very high tensile strength of up to 4000 N and can be successfully suspended on spans up to 80 meters. The fibers used are of G.652.D type.
The outer sheath is made of high-quality HDPE, with a nominal thickness of 1.5 mm. The cable construction is reinforced with aramid fibers, and moisture protection is provided by a special blocking tape. The fiber optic cable is fully dielectric, and there are two ripcords in the sheath for additional convenience.
The offered product is perfectly suitable for use in aerial installations, especially on main routes. The cable is durable and has a long lifespan (it maintains its performance parameters for a long time). It complies with standards: ITU-T G.652, IEC 60794-1-1, IEC 60794-1-2, IEC 60794-3, IEC 60794-4-20, IEC 60794-4.
The cable has been designed for aerial installations but can also be successfully used in telecommunications ducts.
