The OPTIX Aramid Z-XOTKtcdD cable features a lightweight single-tube construction (~20kg/km), offering high flexibility and tensile strength despite its small diameter (~5mm). It is equipped with gel and water-blocking construction (WB), an HDPE outer sheath providing UV resistance, and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. Reinforced with 2 ARP (0.5mm) / FRP (0.4mm) rods and aramid fibers, it is entirely dielectric – the equivalent of Aramid Z-XOTKtcdD. The maximum installation tension is 1200N.

All fibers in the cable are color-coded according to the eia/tia-598 coding standard. The tube contains up to 24 optical fibers and is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. The cable is reinforced with aramid fibers. To ensure additional structural strength, two ARP or FRP rods are embedded in the outer HDPE layer. Two ripcords submerged in the sheath facilitate the removal of the cable's outer sheath. These cables are suitable for installation in both primary and secondary telecommunication ducts using pneumatic (blown) and mechanical (pulled) methods, as well as aerial installations on spans up to 80 meters.
