OPTIX CABLE DAC 8J is a high-quality single-tube fiber optic cable, designed for outdoor applications, in particular for direct burial in the ground. Thanks to its compact design, high mechanical resistance, and ease of installation, it is an ideal solution for building FTTH access networks (last mile).

Cable structure: Optical fibers – 8 fibers of type G.652D with a diameter of 9/125 µm, ensuring high transmission quality. Hydrophobic gel – tube filling that protects the fibers from moisture and vibrations. Loose tube (PBT) – central tube with a diameter of 2 mm providing optimal fiber arrangement. Aramid fibers – additional reinforcement ensuring tensile strength. FRP rods (ø 0.9 mm) – two FRP reinforcement rods embedded in the outer sheath, increasing resistance to bending and mechanical damage. Outer sheath PE (polyethylene) – resistant to UV radiation and harsh weather conditions. Ripcords – two threads placed under the outer sheath, facilitating its removal during installation.
