OPTIX ADSS-XOTKtsdD (ADSS) Fiber Optic Cable: A lightweight, multi-tubular construction with high flexibility and resistance to tension. It features a central strengthening element (FRP rod 2.1-6.3mm), hydrophobic gel, and water-blocking construction (WB), along with moisture-absorbing fibers (WSY) or anti-moisture tape. Reinforced with aramid yarns (supporting element in aerial installations), it is entirely dielectric with an HDPE jacket for UV resistance. The temperature range is from -40°C to +60°C, equivalent to ADSS-XOTKtsdD. Maximum installation tension: 4,000N.

All fibers and cable tubes are color-coded according to the eia/tia-598 standard. Each tube containing up to 12 optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. The cable core is protected from water penetration using moisture-absorbing fibers or anti-moisture tape. The cable tubes and filling elements are twisted around the central strengthening element (FRP rod 2.1-6.3mm). Two threads embedded in the jacket facilitate the removal of the outer cable jacket (ripcord). The cables are designed for aerial installations on spans of 100m (for 4kN) as well as in primary and secondary telecommunications ducts using pneumatic (blown) and mechanical (pulled) methods.
