OPTIX ADSS-XOTKtsdD (ADSS) Aramid yarns: a lightweight multi-tube construction cable, offering high flexibility and resistance to tensile forces. It features a central reinforcing element (FRP rod 2.1-6.3mm), hydrophobic gel and water-blocking design (WB), moisture-absorbing fibers (WSY) / moisture-proof tape, reinforced with aramid fiber (structural component in aerial installations), fully dielectric, HDPE outer sheath – UV resistant, temperature range -40…+70 [°C] – equivalent to ADSS-XOTKtsdD.

Maximum installation tensile force: 2,700N. All fibers and tubes in the cable are color-coded according to the eia/tia-598 standard. Each tube containing up to 12 optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. The cable core is protected from water penetration using moisture-absorbing fibers or moisture-proof tape. The cable tubes and filling elements are twisted around the central strength member (FRP rod 2.1-6.3mm).

Two threads embedded in the sheath facilitate the removal of the cable's outer jacket (ripcord). The cables are designed for aerial installation on spans of 50m (for 2.7kN) and in primary and secondary telecommunication ducts using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods.
