OPTIX ADSS-XOTKtsdD optical cable: Lightweight multi-tube construction with high flexibility and resistance to tension, reinforced by a central strength member (FRP rod 2.1-6.3mm), hydrophobic gel and water-blocking structure (WB), moisture-absorbing fibers (WSY) / moisture-proof tape, aramid fiber reinforced (load-bearing element in aerial installations), completely dielectric, HDPE sheath – UV resistant, temperature range -40…+60 [°C] – equivalent to ADSS-XOTKtsdD. Maximum installation tension: 4,000N.

All fibers and tubes of the cable are color-coded according to the eia/tia-598 standard. Each tube containing up to 12 optical fibers is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibrations. The cable core is protected from water penetration using moisture-absorbing fibers or moisture-proof tape. Cable tubes and filling elements are twisted around the central strength member (FRP rod 2.1-6.3mm). Two ripcords embedded in the jacket facilitate the removal of the outer cable sheath. The cables are designed for aerial installations with spans of 100m (for 4kN) and for primary and secondary telecommunications ducting using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods.
