Description

The OPTIX AirFlow S-QOTKSdD 6J single-mode cable with G657A2 fiber is a universal (indoor-outdoor), round, self-supporting cable designed for use in FTTx systems. It is reinforced with aramid fibers (the supporting element in aerial installations) and features a lightweight construction with a small diameter of approximately 3.2mm, providing high flexibility and resistance to tension. It has a polyurethane (PU) jacket and a UV-resistant coating, making it completely dielectric. The installation tension is 800N, and it has a temperature range from -20°C to +60°C.

The design is specially engineered to provide excellent fiber protection and facilitate easy cable routing and installation. The use of G.657A2 fibers allows for reducing the bending radius (even down to 7.5mm). These cables are suitable for aerial installations on spans of 80-100m and in primary and secondary telecommunications ducts using pneumatic (blown) and mechanical (pulled) methods.
