The single loose tube design provides effective protection for the optical fibers, while the HDPE outer sheath ensures high resistance to UV radiation and harsh weather conditions. The fibers are placed inside a gel-filled tube, protecting them against moisture and vibrations. Additional reinforcement is provided by two FRP rods embedded in the outer sheath, increasing the cable’s resistance to mechanical stress.
