IP65 Fiber Optic Repair Closure for DAC Cables

This repair closure is a compact and reliable solution designed for repairing DAC cables in FTTH fiber optic network installations. Thanks to its compact dimensions (165 × 65 × 25 mm), it is ideal for locations with limited space – including underground installations, telecommunications manholes, cable ducts, and cable slack storage chambers.

The enclosure is made of durable PC+ABS material, providing resistance to UV radiation and mechanical damage. Its high IP65 protection rating safeguards the interior against moisture, dust, and other adverse environmental factors. The closure enables the secure connection of cables with an outer diameter of up to 6.5 mm.

Thanks to rubber seals at the cable entries and a perimeter gasket, the DAC 2J closure ensures a tight and durable connection, even in harsh weather conditions. Two slots for fiber optic splice protection sleeves allow the connections to be secured precisely and safely.
