The MCT-468 is a practical cable tester designed for quick verification of continuity and correct wiring in cables terminated with RJ45, RJ12, and RJ11 connectors. It is an ideal tool for installing and servicing computer networks as well as telecommunications systems.
The device allows users to detect the most common cable faults, including open circuits, short circuits, and incorrect wire connections. Test results are displayed through clear LED indicators located on both the main unit and the remote unit, making it easy to check cables even over longer distances.
The tester starts automatically when powered on. It is also equipped with a slow test mode switch (“S”), which reduces the test sequence speed and makes result analysis more convenient.
