The MikroTik RouterBOARD SXTsq is a new device from the SXT series. It is designed to operate in the 5 GHz band, supporting the 802.11 a/n standards and utilizing 2x2 MIMO technology. The maximum theoretical throughput is 300 Mb/s. The device features a 16 dBi panel antenna in its housing, the same as in the standard SXT Lite5. The built-in radio has a transmit power of 25 dBm. The SXTsq comes with the RouterOS operating system with a Level 3 license and is best suited for use as a client device in point-to-multipoint connections, but can also be used in point-to-point connections.
The offered product is equipped with a very small housing, being twice as thin as the regular SXT Lite5. It can be mounted to a pole using a hose clamp. It is powered via passive PoE, with an input voltage range of 10 - 30 V DC. The package includes a 24 V, 0.38 A power supply and a PoE injector.
