The RouterBOARD wAP LTE KIT is a device composed of a wireless access point/router wAPr-2nD and an R11e-LTE module. It features one fast Ethernet port and allows wireless network transmission in the 2.4 GHz band, compliant with the 802.11 b/g/n standards. It supports 2x2 MIMO technology and has two built-in antennas with a gain of 2 dBi each. The included LTE module supports channels 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 20, 38, and 40. The LTE antenna has a gain of 2 - 4.5 dBi, and the module features uFL connectors.
The offered product comes with an enclosure suitable for outdoor mounting, and a special stand is also included for placing the wAP LTE on a desk. The device can be mounted on a pole, wall, or ceiling (e.g., in an attic or on a porch). It also blends well indoors, thanks to its small size, making it easy to incorporate into the décor of a home. The new wAP is also well-suited for use in transportation vehicles such as buses or trains, where providing passengers with wireless network access is necessary.
The device runs RouterOS with a Level 4 license. It can be powered via PoE, DC plug, or a 4-pin automotive connector (included cable). The enclosure is made of plastic, and there is a slot for one SIM card inside. The kit includes a 24 V, 0.8 A power adapter, a PoE injector, and necessary mounting brackets.
