Description

The MikroTik RouterBoard cAP Lite is a compact access point operating in the 2.4 GHz band. The kit includes two enclosures - one elongated, suitable for wall mounting, and the other circular, for ceiling mounting. Additionally, MikroTik provides design files for creating custom enclosures on a 3D printer.

The device features a powerful QCA9533 processor clocked at 650 MHz and 64 MB of RAM, providing performance comparable to the cAP model (RBcAP2nD). Its built-in radio has a maximum transmit power of 22 dBm and supports 2x2 MIMO technology. The antennas have a gain of 1.5 dBi.

The cAP Lite can be powered via DC plug or PoE - either passive or 802.3af/at. The input voltage range is 5 - 60 V DC. The device comes with RouterOS system with a Level 4 license. The kit includes a 24 V, 0.2 A power supply.

It is well-suited for use in hotels, airports, shopping centers, large companies, etc. It works with the MikroTik CAPsMAN management system, allowing for centralized control of connected access points. This functionality enables the creation of a network composed of multiple cAP devices, effectively covering extensive areas.
