The MikroTik RouterBoard cAP Lite is a compact access point operating in the 2.4 GHz band. The kit includes two enclosures - one elongated, suitable for wall mounting, and the other circular, for ceiling mounting. Additionally, MikroTik provides design files for creating custom enclosures on a 3D printer.
The device features a powerful QCA9533 processor clocked at 650 MHz and 64 MB of RAM, providing performance comparable to the cAP model (RBcAP2nD). Its built-in radio has a maximum transmit power of 22 dBm and supports 2x2 MIMO technology. The antennas have a gain of 1.5 dBi.
The cAP Lite can be powered via DC plug or PoE - either passive or 802.3af/at. The input voltage range is 5 - 60 V DC. The device comes with RouterOS system with a Level 4 license. The kit includes a 24 V, 0.2 A power supply.
It is well-suited for use in hotels, airports, shopping centers, large companies, etc. It works with the MikroTik CAPsMAN management system, allowing for centralized control of connected access points.
