The MikroTik RouterBoard hEX PoE is a high-performance wired router equipped with 5 gigabit Ethernet ports, an SFP slot, and a USB port. The device features a QCA9557 processor clocked at 800 MHz and 128 MB of RAM, providing high throughput of up to 2 Gb/s for the entire router.

Ports 2 through 5 feature PoE output, with the voltage matching that of the device and a maximum power of 1 A per port and 2 A for the entire device. The input voltage range is 12 to 57 V. Additionally, the hEX PoE has PoE input on the first port. All Ethernet ports are shielded.

The device comes in a desktop enclosure designed for indoor use. Mounting holes are provided underneath for wall mounting, although appropriate screws and anchors are not included. The hEX PoE runs RouterOS with a Level 4 license.
